Baby Boy Blue

Lace Kit by Kara

Open a new transparent image 600 X 450
Flood fill with #A09EC8 (background color
white foreground color.)

On the KaraScrap-AlphaWithBonus_BabyBoy-Part5 (frame)
Highlight the middle layer, copy and paste as a new image.
Resize twice (2) at 85% using Bicubic resampling.
Copy and paste as a new layer on your working image.

Click inside the frame. Selections > Modify > Expand by 5

Highlight the bottom layer in the layer palette
Layer > New Raster Layer

Copy the baby graphic and Paste into Selection.
Selections > Select none

Turnoff Raster 1 by clicking on the eye.
Make sure one of the other layers is highlighted.
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
H & V =0; O =50; Blur =10 Color black

Turn raster 1 back on and highlight it.

Copy the KaraScrap Part 6 and paste as a new layer.
Image > Rotate > Free Rotate > 90 Degrees Left.
See example for placement.
Drop Shadow same as before.

Layers > Duplicate > See example for placement.

Highlight the top layer. It should be merged.
Locate the alphas and resize each to 85%, using Bicubic resampling,
a total of 4 times each.

Copy the "B" and paste as a new layer on the left side.
Image > Rotate > Free rotate > 10 degrees right
Do not check any of the other boxes.
Drop Shadow same as before.

Copy the "A" and paste as a new layer on the left side
beneath the "B".
Image > Rotate > Free rotate > 10 degrees left
Do not check any of the other boxes.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
same as before.

You can either duplicate raster 2 (the "B") and move it
under the "A" or copy and paste the "B" as a new layer.
If you copy the "B" again don't forget to rotate it 10 degrees right
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
same as before.

Copy the "Y" and paste as a new layer on the left side
beneath the second "B".
Image > Rotate > Free rotate > 10 degrees left
Do not check any of the other boxes.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
same as before.

Arrange each letter so they touch and are centered
on the working image.

Copy the bluebows and paste as a new layer.
Move it to the junction of the first two letters
as shown in the example. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
same as before.
Duplicate the layer and arrange on the other two junctions as shown.
Turn off the other layer. Highlight on of the remaining alpha layers
and merge visible.

Highlight the top layer in the layer palette.
Select the bluetag. Resize to 75% twice using Bicubic resampling.
Add whatever text you want on it.
Copy and paste the tag as a new layer. See example for placement
Drop Shadow same as before.

Copy and paste the paperclip as a new layer.
Move it over atop the tag. Use your lasso tool set at point-to-point
to select the part of the clip that would be behind the tag.
Hit delete. Drop Shadow same as before.

Select the td59tube Resize to 75% three times using Bicubic resampling.
Copy the tube and paste as a new image. Move to the upper right.
In the layers palette set the mode to Luminance Legacy.
Drop Shadow same as before.

Copy and paste the SilverBabyShoes tube as a new layer.
Move to the lower right corner of the frame.
Drop Shadow same as before.

Highlight the bottom layer.
With the pen tool -Set the line style to dashed
width to 1; Contiguous and create as a vector checked.
Mode > center symbol; Segment type point-to-point.
Using the ruler as a guide draw the lines 10 pixels in all the
way around the image. In the layer palette convert
the vector to a raster layer. Drop shadow as before.

Layer > New raster layer > Add text for date, weight, and length
or you choice.

Layer > New raster layer > add you mark.

Image > Add borders > 10 symmetric white. Select the border.
In your foreground materials box click on gradient with these settings.
Linear ; angle 45; Repeats 2.
Flood fill the border with this gradient.
While still selected Effects> 3D Effects > Inner bevel with these settings.
#2 @ 20 wide. Smoothness = 20; Depth = 6; Ambience = 3; Shininess = 15;
Angle =315; Intensity = 35; Elevation = 40.

Resize to your desired size. Export through the .JPEG optimizer and save.

Background. Use your favorite or use a part of the header to make
a bordered background.

Open Letter Creator and finish your Letter.
