PAGE CURL TOP BORDER
Written in PSP 8
Supplies needed
Paint Shop Pro 8 or above
Graphic of your choosing
No Outside filters needed
Open your graphic, duplicate, and close the original.
Open a transparent background image 1024 X 2000
Right click on your graphic and choose Copy
Right click on your transparent background image and choose
Paste - As a new layer.
With your mover tool, move the graphic up and to the
far left of your background image.
Duplicate the Layer
Image - Mirror.
With your mover tool, move this image to the left.
Line up the two images where they meet.
Effects- Image Effects - Page curl and use
these settings.

Choose colors for both color boxes.
You may use the same color, contrasting colors, or what ever you like.
Close your bottom layer by clicking on the eye beside it in your layer palette.
Make sure one of the other layers is highlighted.
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow.
V=3 H =1
O = 100
blur = 10.00
Choose a color from your graphic for the background
color. You might want to use the color you used for
the bottom layer of your page curl.
Turn your bottom layer back on by clicking
on the X over the eye.
Flood fill the background with your chosen color.
I suggest for this Letter not to add a texture
or pattern on your background. For most groups
it will become too large to use.
Highlight the Merged Layer
Layers - New Raster Layer.
Add your mark.
Layers- Merge- Merge All (flatten)
File - Export - JPEG Optimizer.
Set your compression low enough to make the
letter size acceptable but high enough not to
distort the image. I set mine at 20.
Save as a .jpg.
Open Letter Creator.
Body
Image - open the image you saved.
Click on Tile
Leave the image position at Left.
Text
Choose your Font, size of font
Text color and Link Color.
Choose your Signature Color.
Margins.
Set your top margin just below your top
border graphic. Mine is at 406
Left margin = 10
Right margin = 10
Proceed with the rest of the Letter Creation.
